DIY Spring Planter Party on the Deck
When: Saturday April 12th from 2-4pm
Where: At our shop! Black Eyed Susan’s Florist, 290 N Main St @ Seneca Boulevard in Waretown. Weather permitting, we’ll host this event outside on our beautiful riverside deck—if not, we’ll move the fun inside the shop!
Get your hands dirty (in the best way!) at our Spring Planter Box Workshop—a fun, creative afternoon of crafting, planting, and soaking up the season!
You’ll start by customizing your own wooden planter box, choosing from a variety of spring sayings and painting or staining it to fit your personal style. Then, we’ll fill it with your choice of blooming spring plants or vibrant houseplants, perfect for sprucing up your porch, patio, or favorite sunny spot.

Teacup Blooms: A Mommy & Me Floral Workshop @ A Sweet Memory Cake Shoppe and Tea Room

Join us for a fun and floral-filled workshop where you’ll learn the basics of flower care and design—all while creating a charming arrangement in a teacup!
We’ll explore the history and symbolism of the flowers we use, teach you how to cut, prep, and care for blooms, and introduce some fundamental floral design principles to help you build your own petite masterpiece.
This workshop is perfect for beginners, flower lovers, or anyone who just wants to play with pretty petals. You’ll leave with a sweet teacup arrangement and some fresh floral know-how to brighten your space and your day!
And what’s a teacup without a treat? While you design, you’ll enjoy a cozy serving of high tea and fresh scones—because flowers are best enjoyed with a little something sweet.
